Happy Wednesday. It feels like forever since I’ve sat down to write a post… I’m not sure why, but it sure feels that way. Truthfully it has been a while since I’ve written one. I wrote the last 2 weeks posts that posted (Everflex 5/4 and MK11/S360) before I left for vacation to Cozumel. I just proofread to make sure everything was correct before they posted. Some days I’m prepared like that and other days I’m just not. But enough about that… A little birdy told me that today is a certain someone’s birthday (ahem tweet tweet… Deb). Make sure you wish her a Happy Birthday.
So this weekend is Memorial weekend. Memorial weekend kind of jump starts the diving season for a lot of us around here. Who is going to the lake? Make sure you come prepared to eat because we usually have a great feast, especially on Saturday night. One year we fed around 50 people. I’m not sure the menu this year, no one informed me so I can’t share it with you but know when there’s divers there will be food and usually the food is fantastic. I say usually because I’ve never had a bad meal around divers but I guess there is always a first for everything so if I say usually then no one will hold it against me. Haha… you’re welcome. Or maybe I’m welcome at with that… 🙂
But let’s move on to today’s reason for this blog post….
Heavy Duty Short 3mm Boot
The heavy duty 3mm short boot share many of the favorable components of the heavy duty 6.5mm boot that helps keep this boot durable and dependable. One main component is this boot is cut short for more comfort but makes it more convenient for warmer water diving.
Because this boot is a shorter boot, it eliminates the need for a zipper to put on and take off this short boot. The sole allows for ease on both a boat deck as well as rocky surfaces.
So technical aspects…
- Provides full-featured foot protection for warm-water diving.
- Offers good protection without being stiff or heavy.
- Can be comfortably worn with adjustable fins.
- Slips on and off without zippers.
- Available in 8 sizes.
Available Sizes:
2XS/5, XS/6, S/7, M/8, L/9, XL/10, 2XL/11, 3XL/12.
This happens to be another one of those items I own, but this time I knew I owned one unlike the Pyroflex Steamer… <sigh> One thing I can say about these boots is they are extremely comfortable and easy to get on just like the above states. If your fin is a little big with a heavy mm boot on, they might be a bit big, so make sure you note that if you choose to own multiple weight boots. One more key factor about these boots, they are easy to pack in luggage to take on dive destination trips to warmer water.
So if you want to check out these great boots, come see us, like NOW! Happy Memorial Weekend and hope to see you at the lake this weekend to kick off this great 2017 diving season!
Carlene said Saturday dinner is chopped Pork bbq sandwiches…YUMMY lol! I like these boots and would like to add that I have a really wide foot and I have no trouble with them!
