
rESCUE DIVER
The SDI Rescue Diver course is designed to develop the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively perform diver rescues and administer aid to diving-related accidents and injuries like DCI, AGE, panic, and Lung Overexpansion Injuries.
To complete the SDI Rescue Diver program, divers must complete the SDI eLearning, 1 orientation session, 1 pool session, and 1 open water scenario day
Students must have the SDI Advanced certification, CPR, and o2 Provider – We do offer these courses!

what will you learn:
The SDI Rescue Diver course is one of the most physically challenging courses in recreational diving. Students will push their advanced skills to their limits with combining their first-response training.
Course prerequisites:
- SDI Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent
- SDI Advanced Scuba Diver or equivalent
- Provide proof of current CPR, first aid and oxygen provider (Rescue Student Price $149 reg price $198)
- 40 Logged Dives
- Minimum age 18, 15 with parental consent
required equipment:
- Standard SCUBA unit – most divers should own their gear at this point, however we do have gear for rent
- Cutting device
- Oronasal resuscitation mask (pocket mask) with O2 inlet
- Logbook
- DCS field evaluation slate (included in the course cost)
