I think we’re trying to set a record this week or something with the number of blog posts that have been published. The first one was Saturday although you could claim that Saturday fell in last week, anyway Saturday’s post was about the Extreme Dive Club Meeting Minutes. Then there was the post Monday on the exciting news that the shop went ScubaPro Dealership Platinum!! And finally yesterday we hit our 100th post. Whew, that is a lot going on this week! But let’s not forget that today is Wednesday which means it’s Diver Interview Day!! Hmmm being Wednesday, you could go back to the commercial with the camel and I think his name was Mike, we sooooo need to interview a diver with the name Mike. Anyway that was a side thought or as I learned in my Medieval Brit Lit class last night, a digression. A digression really has nothing to do with the story. You’re welcome :). Anyway this week’s diver to meet is Dan Hayworth!
How did you get started diving?
My brother Dave said, hey, we should try that.
How long have you been diving?
Since August of 2012
How many dives do you make in a typical year?
Oh gosh (Dan, that’s not an answer) okay 30-40.
What other hobbies do you have?
A 6 year old and a 3 year old. They consume most of my time.
Where is your favorite place to dive?
Cozumel or anywhere with Dan La Due (as Dan La Due said that). 2nd to Cozumel is here (Beaver Lake) (Dan La Due: Mermet Springs) yeah that’s fun.
What is your most comical dive experience?
When my wife flailed and knocked my regulator out of my mouth and then freaked out because I didn’t have a regulator in my mouth.
What is your occupation?
Guttering, construction…. Basically Jack of all trades. Child care of a 3 year old and a 6 year old, did I mention that already?
Words of wisdom/tips or tricks for fellow divers?
Oooo I stumped him. Diving is a fantastic sport but it is made better by the people you dive with.
