Welcome to the New Year. The New Year brought along with it some nice, cool temperatures, but that didn’t stop our fellow divers from jumping in the waters at Beaver Lake on New Year’s Day. We had 12 divers come experience the nice refreshingly cool waters Thursday morning. The water Temperature was a cool refreshing 48˚F.
Of those 12 divers, Adam Deras completed his rescue certification. Mark Willoughby is getting good at playing victim for the rescue and ERDI certifications.
Then while I was going around interviewing some of the fellow divers for a new series we’re going to be starting this year, they hunted me down and said I needed to include this message in the New Year’s Day post, “Vicks Nyquil is good for love.” I have no idea what that means, you should probably ask Justin Walkinshaw, Steve Sweet, Dan La Due, Dan Hayworth or Chris Parrish. I believe they were all involved in that conversation.
Now it’s time to let the pictures do some talking, plus Jason La Due made a great video. Make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom for some reminder dates of upcoming events to mark on your calendar.
