I just got done conducting two interviews this morning where they were talking about trips to Cozumel, Roatan, Utila, and on and on. Makes me ready to jump on a plane and head down there, especially with bad weather supposed to be hitting the four states today and in to tomorrow. Then while I’m posting this interview, Kiran Stacy talks about diving in the Bahamas. Oh goodness… I think I’m ready to if nothing else plop my rear in the sand and soak up the sun and salt water… but I think I’ll keep dreaming about that while I introduce you to Kiran Stacy and her story as to how she got into Scuba Diving and what she does for fun!
How did you get started diving?
My mom was certified
How long have you been diving?
Can we just put that I’ve been certified since I was 13 so about 4 right… haha?
How many dives do you make in a typical year?
0ooh… I haven’t dove much since I was a teenager other than Mermet Springs last fall.
What other hobbies do you have?
My kids and they’re activities. I am a taxi service.
Where is your favorite place to dive?
Seeing as though I got certified in the Bahamas, I’m going to go Bahamas. I kind of got spoiled right off the bat.
What is your most comical dive experience?
Oooooooo. So I was taking my certification dives in the Bahamas and there were several dives in the same day and it was the 3rd dive of the day. I was on the sea floor bouncing (leaping). The dive master had to free dive do and gave me the up signal. I came up and he said that I was to sit out the next dive. That was my first nark experience.
What is your occupation?

Words of wisdom/tips or tricks for fellow divers?
